Orders & Payments
By placing an order through our website, you warrant that:
- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are resident in the United Kingdom or in a Country from which you are permitted to purchase goods over the internet.
Our website uses Snipcart, which is verified and is certified safe and a secure online payment system. Once payment has been authorised, we receive notification from Snipcart of your order via an e-mail sent to us.
Payment may also be made via BACS by prior arrangement. Your order will only be processed after your payment has been receipted. There will be a longer period of correspondence by paying this way.
Paul Tavernor Art endeavours to only display available stock on this website. You will be notified as soon as possible, should your item be out of stock or if we anticipate a time delay. We will contact you with an estimated time of delivery if this should occur.
Artwork prints and mounts are made to order, therefore please allow approximately one week to deliver. We will always try and dispatch your items to you as quickly as possible. Please note, the Gallery is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so we won’t be able to dispatch goods during these times.
Generally our orders are sent out by Royal Mail, second class. All prints, mugs and placemats are classed as `small parcels` due to their size. They do not require a signature. Higher end artworks will be sent out by Tracked Delivery.
Disclaimer
Paul Tavernor Art endeavours to ensure all product descriptions and specifications posted on this website are correct.
Please be aware that we cannot accept responsibility for slight variation in colour in the artwork you receive. Even though colour representation is close, it may not be exact due to how different computer monitors depicts graphics on your device.
Measurements given are approximate, we recommend you wait for your artwork to arrive first. For example, before you purchase a frame.
We reserve the right to alter prices at any time, without prior notice.
Placing an Order
We hope you find the shopping experience with us to be efficient. By clicking items into the shopping cart and submitting your order on the check-out screen you are offering to buy the goods at the price that is stated, subject to our Business Terms. By placing an order with us, you agree to our terms of business.
The contract between us will be completed on the dispatch of your order, unless you have been notified that your order has not been accepted or if you have cancelled your order.
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- If the Artwork (For example, an Original / Sculpture) has unpredictably been sold in our Art Gallery and before we have had the opportunity to update the web page.
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
- We do not deliver to your area.
- We do not permit the resale of any Paul Tavernor Artworks, without our formal permission. It is illegal to sell on artworks with consent. All artworks are bound by paultavernor copyright.
Cancellation Policy
Once you submit an order, we will prepare your order for shipment. If for any reason you wish to cancel your order and before we dispatch your goods. Please provide your name & address, the order number and date of the order, stating the item you wish to cancel.
You can do this by telephoning our Gallery during opening times on: 01625 878910 and leaving a message out of hours or by using our contact page.
We endeavour to respond and assist you as at our earliest opportunity.
Returns Policy
We make every effort to supply you with the highest quality goods. If you do need to return any items. Please contact us by email or by telephone within this seven working day period.
Please do not return any items to us before contacting us
Please telephone our Gallery during opening times on: 01625 878910 and leaving a message out of hours or by using our contact page.
Please ensure we have your:
1. Name & Address
2. Order number
3. Date of your order
4. The item you would like to return.
Return items should be then sent back to us between Tuesday – Saturday to:
Paul Tavernor Gallery, 63 Park Lane, Poynton, Cheshire, SK12 1RD, UK.
Any item returned must be packed in its original packaging and in the case of unmounted and mounted prints, must have remained sealed. We regret that we cannot accept artwork that has been unsealed from its protective sleeve and opened.
We suggest sending items back via recorded delivery with insurance for your own proof of delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in return transit. Return carriage postage costs are not reimbursable unless you are returning the item because there has been an error on our part. If goods arrive to us on a Monday when the Gallery is closed, parcels are taken to another village and there will be a delay in sorting out the order.
Once we have received returned goods, they will be subject to inspection, pending which, we will then refund your account.
If in the unlikelihood you receive damaged goods in transit. This must be reported to the delivery-person if at all possible. Please take a photograph and contact us within 3 days of receipt.
Refunds after 14 days from dispatch are at our discretion. We endeavour to respond and assist you as at our earliest opportunity.
Currency
The main currency of this website is Pounds Sterling. If you see any price which you believe may be incorrect, please contact us to confirm the price.
Duties & Local Taxes
Duties and/or taxes which arise at the point of entry into the destination country, are the responsibility of the customer/purchaser and do not lie with us.
Paul Tavernor Art does not currently add UK, Value Added Tax (VAT).
Events Beyond Our Control
Paul Tavernor Art shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so, or for any damage or defect caused to goods delivered by an occurrence beyond our control, including: strikes, theft, breakdown of systems or network access, floods, fire, explosion, viral epidemics or accident.
Confidentiality
Your personal details that you supply to us are greatly respected. We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information strictly confidential. Information supplied to us may be stored on a computer system in relation to your order, but will not be supplied to any outside agency or third parties.
Copyright
No-one likes their artwork copied or reproduced without their consent. The contents of the pages on our website - inclusive of all artwork, photographs, designs, logo, pictures, written text and any other material, are the intellectual property of Paul Tavernor.
As a visitor to this website, you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, display, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit such material and content without our knowledge and prior written consent.
